SUMMER LOW TIDE YOGA

This movement series is inspired by the qualities of receding ocean tides—fluid, rhythmic, and gentle. These simple floor based yoga sequences highlight soothing and repetitive movements alongside cyclical breath patterns.

Low Tide 1

This gentle practice invites rhythmic and repetitive waves of breath to soothe and calm the body. Floor based movements support a sense of grounding and regulation.

 

 

Low Tide 2

This sequence is designed to soothe and cool the system. The practice begins in a restful supine position and the sounds of a singing bowl. Move slowly with gentleness to counterbalance the heat and pace of the summer.

This video begins with instructions on how to find a comfortable and safe seated posture, explores simple and repetitive movements, and concludes with the sounds of a singing bowl.
